JP was raised by a drag-queen performer mother and roadie father. Since then they have been busy doing things their way.
Having independently released 5 albums and co-starting Ragged Gum Records in 2020, community has always been at the heart of what JP does.
From running a Bushfire Appeal concert in Castlemaine, starting a queer boxing club in their paddock, and staunchly advocating for assault survivors and mental health in their spare time, Heartacres PR seemed like the natural next step in their bootleg, DIY journey.
Jess has extensive experience in event management / recording / performance / songwriting / collaboration - and has fronted many different projects over the years - Paddock Bomb, The Troubled Waters, JP Band, as well as their current solo project, and has performed with the likes of The Peep Tempel, Cedric Burnside and CW Stoneking to name a few.
Jess also identifies as a LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent and disabled artist and mental health advocate - and is a survivor of childhood trauma and sexual assault, which has been a huge driving force for setting up an inclusive, supportive, advocacy-led org that is designed to directly support fellow artists who also wish to smash the patriarchy.

Fionna Allan is Lady Adventurer - a Creative Project Manager and Producer with a background in international music tour management, venue booking, television production, festival operations, community radio, kitchen discos and much more.
Fionna is driven by connecting communities and is passionate about supporting musicians and those in the creative industries - particularly those based in Regional Victoria. She loves road trips, music festivals and bringing people together.

When Heartacres was first dreamed up, I knew I wanted Fi to be on deck. From touring with Sinead O'Connor and Peaches, to coordinating hugely successful festivals like Town Folk Fest in Dja Dja Warrung, and being a FIERCE supporter and advocate for women in music, she has always been someone I've greatly admired.
